OMFG. Those streets are so frickin' clean. Horrible.

Yeah! That's the first thing I thought too. Look how damn clean the streets are. Plus, all that green space and no little stands selling tacos or phone cards or lottery tickets alongside it and no one hawking newspapers and Coco Snap.

AND... a mailbox!! with a flag up and someone will come and get the mail and it will actually end up where the address says it should... unless it is addressed to Mexico that is.

But the fuchsia's, those almost made me cry. I miss fuchsia's.

I think they have fuchsias in Chiapas. I was thinking it looks a lot like northern California. The grey houses crack me up, can you imagine a row of grey houses here?

I love the photos, well, except for the bottom-feeding, sea dwelling insect on a plate...

Where's the basura in the streets?

Wow! The houses aren't touching and there are YARDS! Nobody has a couch on their porch...and not a single pothole to be seen. Amazing!

    The photos are really pretty!

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Pretty flowers, clean streets, ticky tack houses, blah blah blah.

I creamed my jeans over that Thunderbird! OMG, How beautiful is that puppy! If you tell me someone in your family owns that, and you get to drive it I may have to hurt you.... or ask for your hand in marriage, one of the two :)

Funny enough... as I was scrolling down the pics I was thinking... "hmmmm... I see a pattern here... oh, yeah... I get it.... it's NOT mexico! "

The pics are lovely and those first flowers are MINDBLOWING! I didn't even know such a beautiful species existed!

    Fned.

Heather - Yes, I was LOOKING for garbage. I found a "Molson Canadian" beer can and all of a sudden felt at home...

Jonna - Made you miss something!

Theresa - They had all sorts of colors actually. Of course...mostly nice colors. No pinks or oranges or purples and pinks or ugly greens.

Michel - I have the power!

Rivergirl - Sorry about the vermon.

Susan - I didn't even realize that they didn't touch until you mentioned it.

Mimi - Someone in my family owns it. And I get to drive it. The unfortunate part about that is that I'm totally lying to you. It was just on the street and I thought it was purdy.

Fned - Glad you liked the flowers because I did too!

Man, I forgot about fuchias! There is definately a theme in these pics. Would have been funny to do a side by side with shots from Mexico. But we all got the picture! Nice post. Thanks for sharing it with us.
