Spider haters, do not look below.


How's this for a hunka junka Mexican spider.


AAAAAaaaack. Thank god it was outside and not right out side my place if you know what I'm saying. I can't believe I got close enough to compare size! How dumb am I?







UM HELP? What is it? Can it kill? It's Friday night so excuse the lack of enthusiasm for looking it up. Help a sistah out.

    Why oh why oh why did I look? You warned me...I know I hate spiders....but I had to look.

    I won't look again and I won't look at more so I can't help you identify it except as BIG HAIRY MOTHERFUCKING SPIDER!

    I hate spiders with a passion but I am fascinated by them - so long as it's a picture or on TV or something. I appreciate the battery-for-scale, but oh my hell if I were there I would have been ACROSS THE STREET and probably NEVER WOULD HAVE GONE PAST THAT WALL AGAIN.

    Yeesh.

    I see a eight legged thing (I can't bring myself to even say the name) walking and my legs buckle... and then you wonder how I could come live in a cold northern country like France!

    That totally looks like a spider that they have here in Chile. It's call an arana rincon. It's deadly so be careful!

    I think it's some sort of wolf spider....

    "The Wolf Spider is not aggressive but will inject venom freely if continually provoked. Symptoms of its venomous bite include swelling, mild pain and itching. Though usually considered harmless to humans, its bite may be painful."
